TITLE

Mummies are much more morbid than most other mythic monsters for one main reason: they’re real! What exactly are mummies, and how are they made?

Ancient Egyptians often made cats into mummies. They thought cats were blessed. Egyptians wrapped the cat mummies in linen. Bastet was a cat goddess. People would give cat mummies to her temple. Offering the mummies was a way to worship Bastet.
