Watch lion cubs play in the grasslands of Africa. You will learn about how they grow to be fierce predators and their family life.

Temperate grasslands have very healthy soil. It is dark and can hold water for a long time. There are things called nutrients in the soil that help plants grow well. These nutrients come from old plant matter dying and breaking down. Many people started using the soil for farmland. The amount of natural, temperate grasslands has shrunk.
