Hockey teammates work together to score goals. They learn how to do this during practice. For example, players learn how to pass to one another. They learn different ways to shoot the puck. They use these skills to score during games.

Every hockey team has a coach. The coach comes up with a plan to win the game. Good coaches make sure players are learning and having fun. They encourage players to do their best. They also help players learn new skills.
