Gorillas often go knuckle walking on all fours. This male silverback gorilla is knuckle walking through the forest with two babies.

Gorillas are smart animals. They make and use tools. Gorillas sometimes use sticks to see how deep the water is before they go into a river. Gorillas can also learn to understand people. A gorilla named Koko learned to talk with people using hand signs.
