Watch an orca pod hunt in a very special way.

Orcas are very smart and social creatures. They experience sadness similar to humans. In 2018, scientists watched one orca in the Pacific Northwest named Tahlequah mourn, or feel great sadness, for her calf who died shortly after it was born. She carried its body around for 17 days. Some of her pod members could be seen helping her during this time.
