A day in the life of a dental assistant.

After a person loses their baby teeth, they grow their adult teeth. There are four different types of adult teeth. Front teeth are called incisors. They are for biting and cutting food. Canines are the pointy teeth on either side of the incisors. They grip and tear food. Premolars have a similar job. They come after the canines. Molars are at the back of the mouth. They are for grinding and chewing food.
