Watch animals wander through the changing forest landscape over a whole year!
There are four layers to rainforests. The forest floor layer is very dark. Animals like leopards use the darkness to hunt prey. The understory layer is also dark, but many fruits can grow there. The canopy layer is so thick with plants it acts as a roof for the bottom two layers. The emergent layer is the rainforest’s skyline. Birds and bats glide through the top branches.
