A dentist drills a patient’s tooth. Dentists use drills to help them fix teeth. Dentists check to see if your teeth are healthy. If your teeth are unhealthy, dentists can usually fix them.

Dentists use many tools to look inside a patient’s mouth. The small mirror lets dentists see the back of a patient’s teeth. Dentists use metal probes to see how hard teeth are. Hard teeth are strong and healthy. Dentists also use these probes to gently scrape teeth and see if they are clean or not.
