People eat lumpia in many ways. Some people eat lumpia with their hands. But people can use chopsticks or a fork as well. Most people choose to dip their lumpia in sauce. The sauce can be sweet, spicy, or a mixture of both.

Adobo is a national dish of the Philippines. It is a flavorful mix of meat and spices. Cooks often make adobo with chicken or pork. First, they make a marinade. In this step, they place meat in a mix of vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and spices. They let it sit and soak. Next, they simmer the meat in a pan on the stove.
