TITLE

People can make percussion instruments out of everyday objects! This man made a set of plumbing tubes so that each tube plays a different note. He is also hitting a kick drum and high hat cymbals by using pedals.

Tambourines and maracas are popular percussion instruments. A tambourine has a flat face like a drum, but it is much thinner than a drum. Around the flat face are tiny cymbals that make noise when the tambourine is hit or shaken. Maracas are hollow balls filled with small things like beans or seeds. They have handles for shaking. Tambourines and maracas are fun to play!
