Chicken nuggets were invented in the 1960s. Today, they are a popular fast food. People across the United States eat chicken nuggets.

Robert C. Baker was a professor at Cornell University when he invented the first chicken nugget. He made many other foods from ground chicken. These include chicken hot dogs and chicken meatloaf. But many people forget about Baker. At Cornell, he is most remembered for making a barbecue sauce.
