Watch a scientist try to burn a Crying Boy painting. It will help you understand how the piece of art got it’s haunted legend.

Around 1860, after cameras were invented, people began thinking they could catch ghosts on film. William Mumler took pictures of people who recently lost loved ones. Ghosts often showed up in the photos he took. People thought they were reconnecting with the dead. Unfortunately, it was discovered that Mulmer was just using photography tricks to make ghost like figures appear in photos.
