Many cities around the world have parades to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Some parades include Irish dancing. Irish dancing is a style of dance with very fast leg movements. The arms stay at the side. This Irish dance troupe performed at a parade in Canada.

People may eat Irish food on St. Patrick’s Day. One common meal is Irish stew. It includes meat, potatoes, carrots, and onions. Shepherd’s pie is another common meal. It is meat and vegetables covered in a potato crust.
