Thanksgiving is a Holiday to celebrate things you are thankful for. People get together with family and friends to share a large meal.

Thanksgiving lands in the middle of fall. Fall is known as the season of harvest. Farmers gather crops in the fall. This image is of a common Thanksgiving decoration. It is called a cornucopia. It is a horn-shaped basket that holds harvest foods.
