TITLE

Sunlight changes the color of cranberries. Cranberries that get the most sun turn red. These berries are often at the top of the vine. Cranberries that get the least sun are white. These are lower on the vine.

Some growers do not harvest cranberries in water. They push a machine across the dry vines. The machine is like a rake. It combs the berries off the vines. Then it pulls them up into bags.
