TITLE

Manners are not the same around the world. Some behavior that is polite in one place may be rude somewhere else. In Pakistan, people arrive at parties up to one hour late. They don’t want to seem greedy by coming too soon. In Denmark, it is rude to be late at all.

Shaking hands is one way to show manners. Many people shake hands when they meet for the first time. Handshakes are also a way to congratulate someone. Sports teams often shake hands after a game. The handshake shows respect for members of the other team.
