Some mail is delivered to people’s houses. A mail carrier drives in a white truck with a red and a blue stripe. The mail carrier puts letters in the correct person’s mailbox. The mail carrier leaves boxes by the door.

Many people send letters through the mail. They write their message on a card or piece of paper. Then they put the letter in an envelope. They write an address on the envelope. Finally, they put a stamp on the envelope. The letter is now ready to be sent.
