Mount Rushmore is a famous memorial in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. The memorial features the faces of four US presidents carved into the side of a mountain. The presidents are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Each of the faces is about 60 feet (18 m) tall. The memorial was completed in 1941, and today millions of people visit it each year.
