The Ark of the Covenant contained the stone tablets with the Ten Commandments inscribed on them. It went missing long ago. There are many ideas of what could have happened to it.

Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday that lasts for eight days and nights. It celebrates the victory of the Jews over a kingdom that had taken over Jerusalem. The other kingdom tried to make the Jewish people give up their faith. The Jews won back the Second Temple. The eight days of Hanukkah represent how long the small jar of oil found in the Temple provided light for the brave Jews who won back the temple.
