TITLE

Earth’s atmosphere includes the air people breathe. It protects Earth from the sun’s harmful rays. It keeps Earth warm but not too hot. Life on Earth would not exist without the atmosphere.

Water droplets in the air act like prisms. Sunlight bends when it hits the droplets. The different colors bend along different lines. The colors separate. They appear in the order of their wavelengths: from shortest wavelengths to longest wavelengths. They appear as a rainbow.
