Have you wondered what stars are, and what are some in the night sky? This video explains.

A constellation is a group of stars that can be identified by their pattern. The stars appear close together, but they are actually very far apart. Constellations have names. They often connect to what pattern the constellation creates. For example, if you connect the stars in the constellation Leo, it looks like a lion. Leo means “lion” in Latin.
