Katmai National Park in Alaska is home to thousands of wild brown bears. Watch as they hunt in rushing river waters when the salmon on running.

Mother bears, especially brown bears, are very protective of their cubs. Adult male bears are known for killing cubs that are not their own. Mothers often move away from male bear territory to keep their cubs safe. Brown bear mothers will attack to protect her babies.
