Listen to The Tree Who Set Healthy Boundaries, a rewrite of the classic Shel Silverstein book, The Giving Tree. It is a fun way to learn about healthy boundaries in friendships.
Children are not the only people who need boundaries. Sometimes parents need to set them. Parents may get home and need quiet time after work because their jobs are busy. If they ask for space for a half hour before dinner time, it’s respectful to listen. Children can use this half hour to read or watch a quick show on the tablet.
