TITLE

Uranus was the first planet discovered by telescope. Other planets were discovered just by the human eye. Uranus was discovered in 1781 by William Hershel. He originally thought it was some kind of star.

Most planets spin west to east. But Uranus and Venus spin the opposite way. Scientists are not sure why. Some people think that the two planets used to spin west to east. But then big space objects hit them and forced them to spin differently.
