TITLE

A solar system is a collection of planets and other space material orbiting a star. The Sun is the star in our solar system. Eight planets and more than 150 moons orbit around it. Most planets take an oval-shaped path around the Sun. Venus orbits in nearly a perfect circle.

The Sun and Moon are the brightest objects in Earth’s sky. But Venus is the brightest planet seen from Earth. It is bright because it is close to Earth. Also, Venus is so bright because sunlight bounces off its thick clouds.
