Oceans can be rough. They can be calm. But they are always salty.

Rainwater and rivers carry minerals into the ocean. This runoff sometimes washes from farmland. It picks up the chemicals people use to protect their crops. It carries these chemicals to the ocean. These chemicals can be dangerous for ocean plants and animals.
